Featuring a duo of Barista and Brewing Skills, as well as a pre-course e-learning module, this track will set you up for success.
In the pre-class elearning module on "What is Specialty Coffee", you will be introduced to the "Seed to Cup" journey of coffee and be exposed to the underlying factors that affect the acidity, body and flavour of a cup of specialty coffee.
In the practical classes Barista Skills will cover everything on setting up of espresso station, cleaning and maintenance of equipment, steps of espresso, grinder calibration (adjusting grind size to achieve ideal extraction) and milk steaming techniques. Brewing Skills introduces you to alternative non-espresso brewing methods such as gravity, immersion and hybrid. Combination of these two modules is sure to provide the home barista with simple and delicious recipes for your next brew!
