Secondary school can be a challenging time for many youths. They are under pressure to perform well academically and socially. At the same time, they are dealing with physical and hormonal changes. It is not surprising that many youths struggle to cope with these changes. However, there is something that we can do to help them.
We can provide them with the tools to develop emotional resilience. Emotional resilience is the ability to 'bounce back' when things go wrong. It is a valuable skill that can help youths to deal with the challenges of secondary school and beyond. We offer two programmes that weave coffee knowledge with EQ and/or Mindset training for at-risk youths in secondary schools. These programmes provide youths with the skills they need to develop emotional resilience. As a result, they are better equipped to deal with the challenges of secondary school and beyond.
To ensure sustained engagement of participants with different learning styles, programmes include a combination of
Hands-on facilitated activities
