Designed for the Kopi lover or for those keen to join the F&B industry, this course will introduce you to Singapore's heritage coffee culture. You'll have the opportunity to learn and prepare the types of hot beverages offered at a traditional coffee shop.
Learners will be introduced to the Singapore heritage coffee culture, learn and prepare the types of hot beverages offered at a traditional coffee shop. Learners will also be taught various methods to communicate more effectively with customers and co-workers.
Pre-class:
- Self E-Learning (2 hours)
Day 1:
- Overview of the heritage coffee scene in Singapore
- Knowing the tools, equipment and ingredients for hot beverage preparation
- Knowing the steps to prepare and serve different hot beverages served in a traditional coffee shop
Day 2:
- Practise: Knowing the steps to prepare and serve different hot beverages served in a traditional coffee shop
- Knowing the steps to reinstate work stations
- Reflective practice and continuous learning (group discussion)
- Written and practical assessment
On completion, the learner will have the knowledge and application skills in preparing and serving hot beverages offered at a traditional coffee shop.

We require a min of 6 students to run the class. Basic numeracy and English literacy skills (level 2) are required.
