Are you a coffee lover, aspiring F&B professional, or cafe entrepreneur? Have you always wanted to create coffee like those you’ve tried at artisan cafes? In this course, embark on your coffee journey as we bring you from bean to cup.
Discover the origins of coffee, farming and processing methods and try your hand at identifying flavour notes and coffee characteristics. Perfect your brewing methods to create delicious pour-overs, practise using the espresso machine to make espresso-based drinks, and get your first taste of creating latte art.
By the end of the course, you will come away with foundation barista and brewing skills and knowledge in specialty coffee.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and application skills in providing specialty coffee service and be competent in:

WSQ Provide Specialty Coffee Service is a SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) accredited programme (formerly WDA) and this unit is within the competency category of Food & Beverage Service (one of the modules leading to the CET certificates).
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in WSQ Non-Alcoholic Beverage Preparation (Level 3).
We require a min of 6 students to run the class. Basic numeracy and English literacy skills (level 3) are required.
