1. Skillsfuture Credits (SFC)
SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. Introduced in 2015, all Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500.
As part of efforts to encourage Singaporeans to take ownership of their skills development and be well-equipped to seize opportunities in the future economy, a one-off SkillsFuture Credit top-up of $500 will be provided to every Singapore Citizen aged 25 years and above as at 31 December 2020. 2. Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)

Q) How do I check if I have SkillsFuture credits (SFC)?
A) Login to your individual SFC account on myskillsfuture.sg to check your credit balance and make your claim through the system. Notifications will be made via email and text messages.

Q) What courses at Bettr Barista can I use my SkillsFuture credits?

Q) How do I apply for SkillsFuture credits?
A) Once you have registered for the course, we will provide a tax invoice and instructions on how to go about claiming for SFC. You will need to login to your individual SFC account on myskillsfuture.sg to submit your claim.
Q) Can I use my Career Transition credits for courses at Betta Barista?
A) Career transition credits cannot be used for our coffee courses at Bettr. They can only be used for career-transition courses offered by Institutes of Higher Learning and CET Centres.
Q) What courses at Bettr Barista can I use UTAP on?
A) SCA Barista Skills Foundation (English), SCA Barista Skills Intermediate, WSQ Provide Specialty Coffee Service, WSQ Prepare and Serve Hot Beverages
Q) I’m a NTUC member. Can I use SFC in conjunction with Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) to defray my course fee?
A) NTUC union members can use both their SkillsFuture Credit and UTAP funds at the same time for courses that are listed under both schemes. In such cases, the course fee will be offset using the SkillsFuture Credit first and then the member can claim up to 50 per cent of the remaining fees from UTAP. Do note that both schemes have different claim submission period.
Q) How much UTAP do NTUC members have to enjoy?
A) $250 a year. From 1 July 2020, workers above 40 can use up to S$500 a year. Those below the age of 40 will still get S$250 a year. The higher funding level will apply until Dec 31 2022. It can be used on some 5,300 courses listed on the NTUC website.
Q) I am a self-sponsored Singaporean. Am I entitled to any Enhanced mid-career subsidy for any of your courses?
A) Yes, above 40 Singaporeans are entitled to the Enhanced mid-career subsidy for our WSQ courses. Once registered the course with us, we will apply for the subsidy for the individual and you will only need to pay the balance coure fee. Please refer to our WSQ courses.

A) WSQ Provide Specialty Coffee Service and Prepare and Serve Hot Beverages
Q) How do I go about using PSEA for the coffee courses?
A) Upon receiving your registration, we will follow up with a PSEA undertaking form which we will need learners to fill up their particulars and utilisation amount. It will take 3 weeks for the PSEA funding to be approved by MOE. Please ensure that the course date selected is at least 3 - 4 weeks from the date of registration.
